Riding Adventure

So this past Friday, my friend Paige brought over her two horses so we could ride. Her horses are Bella and Dude. First she rode Bella for about 30 minutes(she has melanoma cancer) and I rode Missy with her. Then we saddled up Cat and Dude and rode for about an hour and 30 minutes around my neighborhood. This included the dirt road behind our street, where we had to pass many 'scary' cows and frisky horses and black cats, to a bridge and a real street. The horses did amazing(: Paige had to get off a few times to walk Dude past some cows and over the bridge, but overall it was great! When we got back we let Cat and Dude run a little bit in the arena. Afterwards we dared to let all four horses out in the pasture together. At first they kinda ran around with eachother, then split up into their two groups, each in a far end of the pasture. After a while though, Missy started chasing them around, with Cat right behind her. So we split them up again. Oh silly horses.
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to going out again, even with just my two horses. (: 

It's Shavin' Time!

So, being at the Arabian horse show, and seeing all the nice horse hair cuts, I wanted to go out and groom the horses real nice. I trimmed their whisker hair, ears, legs, bridlepath, and feet. Here's Cat(:

I accidently clipped her ear hair on the outside REALLY thin, like the show horses. So I was like, 'Well, gotta do the other one!'

I didn't trim Missy's that short, so I'm gonna try to do it tomorrow because I really liked it. Haha afterwards it looked like some animal got killed or something... :P
